In parts one through three of my beginner’s course on stocks, I wrote that the stock of the company was the original amount of capital that went into founding it. I said that businesses divide stocks into shares, which can be bought or sold to shareholders, who are people who own one or more shares of stock and therefore “share ownership” of the company. I wrote about stock brokers who are people that will charge you to arrange the purchasing or selling of stock. Now a bit buying and selling stock.

In part one of my primer course on stocks, I wrote that businesses divide stocks into shares, and that each share represents a fraction of ownership. I told you that shares may come with various ownership rules, privileges, or share values. Also, I let you know about the two forms of stock: preferred stock and common stock. Now we’ll talk about shareholders.

In parts one and two of my primer course on stocks, I informed you that the stock of a business represents the original amount of money that went into founding it. Businesses divide stocks into shares, and each share represents a portion of ownership. I let you know about shareholders, who are people or companies that own one or more shares of stock in a joint stock company and “share ownership” of the company. I told you that they have special privileges depending on the class of stock they own, and that they will use their shares as votes in the election of members of the board of directors of the company.

“Have I remembered to BYOB this year?”. This is a query everybody should ask himself or herself. We are midway through 2010 and there has never been a more important time to bring your own eco friendly reusable shopping bags. When you BYOB, instead of using single-use plastic or paper disposable bags, you instantly become a piece of the solution to the enormous urban litter problem associated with disposable shopping bag waste. As of July 1st 2010, it is estimated that over 240 billion plastic bags have been consumed in 2010 alone. Whats even more alarming is the effect that plastic and paper single-use bags are continuing to have on the ecosystem. The purpose of this article is to look at the most recent information regarding large-scale efforts to decrease the use of plastic and paper throw-away bags along with the associated litter, and discuss what choices are available to us individual consumers in order to know for sure we are a part of the answer to this problem.

Currencies are traded in the foreign exchange market. Banks, financial institutions, governments, speculators, currency traders and money managers are involved in the buying and selling of currencies. It was only in the 1970s that foreign exchange emerged as a distinct global economic activity. Its volume of transaction every day has risen to more than US$4 trillion. More than 60 percent of the Forex trading is in the nature of speculation. The remaining is what is actually transacted for goods and services that include both real assets as well as financial assets. Investment without making the requisite assessment and analysis, or when the risk factor is not considered for investment even at the risk of losing the sum invested, is called speculative investment. Forex market has been experiencing rapid increase in its daily transaction.

Speech disorders abound worldwide and yet one of the most common and least understood of those disorders, stuttering, remains largely a mystery today. In spite of the fact that stuttering can be traced back centuries, it’s root causes have been widely misunderstood and misdiagnosed and it’s cure remains elusive. Stuttering is a speech disorder whereby the pattern of speech is disrupted by involuntary repetitions, prolongations or even total stoppages of speech. It may also be accompanied by rapid eye blinks or other unusual facial or body movements.

If you do a search on the internet for private tuition you will soon discover that there are many tuition agencies offering private tuition by a wide range of qualified and unqualified tutors. Researchers have reported that there may be more than one in four state school pupils in England having private tuition after school to help them with their studies. A survey of 3,000 primary and secondary school students in England showed 27% of them had private tuition.
