ARTICLE - 1 WHAT IS FENG SHUI ?
Home Sweet Home! We all want our home to be a heaven! Though the definition of a home will differ from person to person, at the end of the day it is a nest for every human being to sit back and relax.
There are three most important aspects in one’s life – Food, clothes and shelter (Roti, Kapada and Makan). When it comes to eating habits, every one of us have our own whims and fancies of what to eat and what not too. Talk about clothes and we have our own taste and would not like to be criticised. But when it comes to shelter, we only express our dream of possessing a flat in Malabar hill, Pedder road (Mumbai’s rich locality) or many other elite areas of the city and suburb. Surprisingly, what everyone forgets to check is, how good or bad is the house you have or going to buy? Yes, the location, surrounding, layout, directions, wind and water that moves in front or back of your house, is extremely important.
When it comes to selecting your home, science of Feng Shui plays an important role. Feng Shui literally means ‘Wind and Water’. This ancient science of China is 3000 years old and since then it has helped millions to change their lives. Though, it was originally possessed and practised by the Chinese Maters for their Emperors, it is now available to all of us.
In my future articles, I will reveal the secrets of each Feng Shui School formulas in stages for benefit of all the readers. I am certain, if you follow my guidance; you will bring Health, Wealth and Prosperity in your lives. This is how Feng Shui is going to help you.
Feng Shui Helps you to understand the natural environment in and around your house and provides simple solutions to overcome the deficiencies caused by the unwanted surroundings. The beauty of Feng Shui lies in its simplicity. Feng Shui science is symbolic, and it offers various options when it comes to cures. For example, if I say, ideally you should put a fish tank in the area identified but if you happen to be vegetarian or do not believe in keeping fish tank in the house. The solution is, you can hang a picture of fishes in the water. It will give you the same results.
Look at the basic Ba-Gua chart, it has nine squares. We will call them corners, like wealth corner, fame corner and so on…. It indicates nine areas of our lives. This chart is used without taking the direction in to account. It is called Black Hat Feng Shui. There are quite a few practitioners who practice this form school of Feng Shui. If you super impose this chart on the layout of your flat, you will be able to identify the problem areas of your life.
When you super impose this chart on your layout plan check which corner of your flat is missing .It is important to identify the location of the toilets. Because toilets drain the energy, that corner of your life is bound to be affected. After you identify the areas, check with yourself, if you have a problem in that area of your life? Some may not have any missing area or may not even have a toilet inside but may be facing problems in some area of their lives. In such cases, you will need to follow my future articles because as you progress, I will introduce you to different schools of Feng Shui.
